Evangelism Helps
The gospel presentation included in these links is meant to be a skeleton. The intention is for each person to become so confident with the basics of the gospel that he/she can adapt the presentation to any situation. The gospel is a precious, powerful gift. Because it is the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1), and includes man's submission to lordship, it is nothing less than life-changing. We must be very careful not to cheapen it. Therefore, the goal of this gospel presentation is not to get a "quick response." Instead, the aim is for the listener to get involved in a 3-4 week, one-on-one bible study with the presenter. This bible study will help provide a thorough description of the gospel while answering the listener's questions. It also builds a natural disicpleship relationship that should continue after conversion. We firmly believe that the way a person enters salvation is most likely the way he/she will "work out their salvation" (Phil 2:12). How dare we reduce this powerful message to a quick, meaningless acknowlegement of minimal facts intended only for man's comfort and not God's glory?
